Wynona Wang
Chinese pianist Wynona Wang was selected as First Prize winner of the 2018 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, which is just the latest in a series of impressive first prize performances, along with the 2017 Wideman International Piano Competition in Louisiana. Wynona was also awarded the 2019 “Charlotte White” Career Grant awarded by the Salon de Virtuosi in New York City.
JP Jofre Trio
JP Jofre is known as one of the world’s foremost soloists on the bandoneon: the soulful, Argentinian instrument that is the main voice of tango and that Astor Piazzolla catapulted to fame. But Jofre is also a brilliant and pioneering composer whose work transcends nuevo tango to encompass neo-romantic, indie classical, and world music. This program is made possible by the New York City Artist Corps.

Hilda Huang - Piano Recital
Pianist Hilda Huang embodies an “alluring extroversion” (New York Concert Review) and achieves “philosophical depths” (West-Allgemeine Zeitung) in her interpretations of the music of J.S. Bach and more recently, L.v. Beethoven.
