Surrounded and influenced by a rich mix of traditions, Indonesian pianist Ferdy Talan has continued his quest for the paths less traveled. Cited for his imaginative programming, Talan was awarded Third Prize at the Washington International Piano Artist Competition in 2016 and was a semifinalist at the 27th International Competition for Outstanding Piano Amateurs in Paris.

Since 2012, he has studied with Zitta Zohar, whose vision and guidance have shaken and continue to awaken his sense of being and purpose.
